A new beer

A century and a half of making beer deserves this beer

In 2026, Damm celebrates its 150th anniversary. To mark the occasion, we present BOHEMIA, a beer that revives the spirit of the historic Fàbrica de la Bohèmia, the origin of our emblematic Old Brewery. A beer crafted to celebrate all the beers we have created. A tribute to our brewing tradition; to our history.

150th anniversary

HISTORY

In Barcelona, in 1876, August Kuentzmann and Joseph Damm brewed a beer with a unique style that has been preserved to this day.

As part of Damm’s 150th anniversary, BOHEMIA is born — a beer that takes its name from the former Fàbrica de la Bohèmia, located on Carrer Rosselló in Barcelona, the site we now know as the Old Estrella Damm Brewery.

With this name, we want to recall an emblematic space that forms part of our legacy, a symbol of the tradition and innovative spirit that has always defined us.

BOHEMIA is a beer created to pay tribute to a century and a half of brewing history and to all the people who have made our story possible.

Slow-aged beer

BOHEMIA is a slow-aged beer, crafted with 100% natural ingredients — water, barley malt, rice, and hops — and subjected to a long maturation that allows it to achieve exceptional depth and balance.

During this extended resting period, the beer evolves gently, refining its character and rounding out its nuances. The result is an intense and balanced lager, with moderate bitterness and herbal notes that pay homage to a century and a half of brewing tradition.

TASTING NOTE

BOHEMIA Reserve 150

Deep golden in colour with amber highlights, BOHEMIA appears clear and bright, with a generous ivory-coloured foam. On the nose, it reveals great aromatic intensity marked by caramelised malt, with subtle, fresh notes of herbal hops that bring a sensation of freshness.

On the palate, sweet cereal notes and a slight warmth can be appreciated. The bitterness is moderate and well integrated, while its robust body and smooth, silky mouthfeel round off the whole and invite you to keep discovering it.

Ideal serving temperature: between 5 and 7 ºC.
